Why I do, what I do.
The reason I get up in the morning. (besides my cold brew)
What I do?
I design digital tools.
How I do it?
I use design tools, uphold design and UX principles, understand business goals, study analytics, test solutions, research human behaviors, study human psychology and collaborate with others.
Why I do it?
I believe that us humans are at our best when we have a goal, a belief or purpose and the right tools to achieve them.

Steps to Success
How I do it
1
Discovery
Discovery
Questions, questions and more questions, First Principle Thinking. What are we creating, who are we creating it for, and why are we creating it. With the help of stakeholders, these questions will build the scope, requirements and the problem statement for the project.
2
Research
Research
Interviewing and surveying users, digging deep in analytics and creating a competitive analysis to find strengths, weaknesses, flaws and improvements. All the while getting inspired by examples in Dribbble, Pinterest, Behnace or Google Search.
3
Identifying Objectives
Identifying Objectives
Objectives like user’s goals, business goals and desired outcomes. Then make them all work in a harmonious way to produce the most beautiful experience possible. Just like Bach: Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, Prelude.
4
Initial Sketches
Initial Sketches
Paper and pencil are my go-to to quickly think through ideas and get a general sense of what the experience needs to feel like. Easy to create and easy to dispose, no strings attached.
5
Wireframes & Prototyping
Wireframes & Prototyping
Turning those sketches into a structured wireframe prototype is next. This will focus the team in ironing out kinks in the flow and functionality before focusing on the look and feel. Dev team is also engaged at this point to avoid any surprises or hurdles later on.
6
Evaluating Design
Evaluating Design
Often and early is key. Validating should be constant and iterative. We need to run hard, but not in the wrong direction.
7
High-Fidelity Mockups
High-Fidelity Mockups
Creating a great look and feel that reinforces the brand’s values and personality is vital to make the product intuitive, secure and trustworthiness. Hence people using it more in return, Aesthetic Usability Effect. Value out, value in.
8
Handoff
Handoff
Anywhere form presentations, sources files, design systems, Zeplin links, GDrive or Confluence pages, all is considered to ensure a good and efficient work flow with the dev team and others involved.
9
Refinement
Refinement
Ongoing. I make sure that communication between the user, the business and technology are continuously and easy to understand. This means that the product is tested and improved constantly.
